DESCRIPTION
SHUDDER is an innovative 2D stop-motion, point-and-click puzzle adventure in which you must guide a lost and anxious girl back to the safety of her bedroom while solving puzzles and avoiding the ominous creature lurking in the shadows. SHUDDER looks to embody the feelings of panic and disassociation that come with mental illness and bring an artistic and playable interpretation of the developers’ own experiences with these things.
SHUDDER was a year long collaborative project made for DePaul University’s 2021 Capstone project. Through hours of iteration I created a process for implementing and compositing real, hand-crafted, stop motion puppets and sets into Unity 2D.
